Balmy Evenings!
Here I sit having read the latest episode in the saga of Knapton's in Goa. This epic tale of a family's quest for perfection, lead by one man's vision of the future (that's you Giles!) keeps me sane in this country of football, budgets, tax increases and the news that I can get an England Flag for the bonnet of my car!! Why? I ask myself would I wish to remain in this insane place? Currently finishing my teacher training, I am set to looking forward beyond balmy summer evenings to the autumn when my new job as a teacher begins in earnest. I find myself relaxing looking over the terms and conditions of life as an international schools teacher!! Am I ahead of myself? Probably; I always have been. I reel myself in and enjoy the moments of this week. My beautiful talented extraordinary son has left school. Tomorrow he dons his kilt and goes off to prom in the splendour of full highland dress, a truly handsome sight. So many years passed since I held his precious hand for the first time and lay my lips against his soft skin to lull him to sleep. He will make a fine man, full of ambition and heart. We are parents for such a short time, and yet the effects of those early years shape the mature adults we become. I like this about myself, I am more whole for my experience as a mother.

Absent friends
WoW!! I am blogging! Can't believe it! I never really understood the whole process, just shows what a dinosaur I am! My good friend Sarah seems to have managed to create her blogg and not wanting to outdone by my fellow fairy friend, I felt it necessary to begin this journey into the unknown. Who knows where it will take us.
